We have PCE inflation data at 8:30 AM ET / 3:30 PM EAT, and the market is already positioning around it. 📊 PCE Forecast • Headline: 3.6% vs 3.7% previous • Core: 3.2% vs 3.3% previous The expectation is therefore for inflation to cool slightly. A softer-than-expected print could weaken the dollar/yields and give BTC, ETH and alts room to push higher. A hotter print could quickly reverse risk assets. Meanwhile, some interesting positioning is showing up on-chain. 🐋 A trader who is 3-for-3 on recent SOL longs, reportedly making around $1.23M, has opened another 3x long on roughly 143,890 SOL — around $14M. At the same time, another whale who previously lost around $12M trading ETH has returned after six months and bought 2,165 ETH around $2,463, worth roughly $5.33M.
