A mysterious giant whale purchases $40 million worth of SHIB.
According to CryptoPotato, a mysterious whale purchased 4 trillion SHIB tokens on December 10th, equivalent to $40 million. This is the largest acquisition of SHIB in December. The whale's decision to hold onto their SHIB tokens has sparked rumors about possible long-term holding strategies.
The recent whale activity coincides with renewed attention on the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which has seen a surge in network activity for the first time since August. However, this week saw an 8% drop in SHIB price, consistent with market corrections. Currently, there are a total of 90,000 addresses holding over 42.2 quadrillion SHIB tokens, with 23% of holders making profits and 62% facing losses.
