PayPal's stablecoin, PYUSD, is seeking deployment on Aave, a lending protocol. Aave is conducting a community temperature check vote on the potential addition of PYUSD to the Aave Ethereum pool. The initial vote concluded on January 11, with the activation of PYUSD on the Curve automated market maker at the end of December. According to Trident in its governance proposal, if the Aave proposal is approved, "Paxos and other parties" will inject $5-10 million liquidity into the pool.
