The LUNC community proposal suggests the burning of 800 million USTC
A proposal within the Terra Classic (LUNC) community suggests burning 800 million USTC. There is significant internal disagreement within the Terra Classic community regarding this proposal. The current proposal seeks to address this dilemma by implementing a contract migration, which would transfer control of the assets to more active developers who can then proceed with the burning. If the current proposal is approved, the supply of USTC will decrease from the current 8.96 billion to 8.1 billion.
