FLOKI: Last week, FLOKI worth over $770,000 was burned
Deep Tide TechFlow News, the Meme project Floki announced last week that it burned FLOKI tokens worth over $770,000. It stated that due to strong demand for Floki utility products in the past week, 3,743,258,666 FLOKI tokens were burned, valued at $772,234 at the time of writing this article.
Floki further noted that the burn was driven by two key Floki products:
1. The Floki Dollar-Cost Averaging Plan with a 5-20% early withdrawal penalty. The penalty appears in the form of FLOKI dollar tokens and is permanently burned whenever a Floki DCA investor withdraws early.
2. The FlokiFi Locker DeFi encrypted storage protocol purchases and burns $FLOKI tokens for every successful transaction on ETH and BNB chains.
