Matrixport stated on social media that Solana is a key advantage in the recent meme coin hype because launching and trading on Solana is cheap, while Ethereum's GAS fees are still relatively expensive until the Dencun upgrade. Therefore, this upgrade may lead to a decrease in SOL/USDT trading volume.
