The Cardano ecosystem welcomes a new version, the Chang hard fork is coming soon
The Cardano ecosystem has welcomed a new release, filled with optimism for the upcoming Chang hard fork. In Input Output Global (IOG)'s recent weekly report, Cardano's light wallet Lace released version v.1.10, which includes a simpler user experience and reduces the time required to create wallets, recoveries and hard wallet launches. Additionally, Lace fixed an issue that prevented some users from using the staking center after upgrading to Lace v1.10. Hydra v0.16.0 was also released this week, including support for Cardano node v8.9.0 and Conway block format support.Plutus Tx compiler was also updated this week with version 1.26 .0 .0 set to be released soon.Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is optimistic about two major upgrades to the Cardano network planned for this year.The Chang hard fork is considered one of the biggest hard forks in the Cardano network since Vasil's upgrade in 2022 and is scheduled for Q2 of this year.This upgrade plans to give ADA holders voting rights on proposals greatly accelerating Cardano's decentralization process.
