This year, only 6 altcoins including DOGE and SHIB outperformed BTC among the top 50 tokens by market value
Data shows that since the beginning of 2024, only six altcoins out of the top 50 crypto projects by market cap have outperformed BTC. They are DOGE, SHIB, STX, BNB, MNT and RNDR. The price of Bitcoin has risen from $44,100 on January 1 to its current $65,000, an increase of 54% since the start of the year.
