Bitcoin mining pool ViaBTC launches auction of rare Satoshi Epic Sats for halving block
Golden Finance reported that on April 20, the Bitcoin mining pool ViaBTC successfully mined the 840,000th block, which is the halving block. The first Satoshi mined in the first block of each halving period is called an Epic Rare Satoshi due to its potential collectible value through the Ordinals protocol. ViaBTC launches this auction of rare Satoshi Epic Sats. The bidding is in the form of Bitcoin. The starting price is 1 BTC. The current highest price is 2 BTC (about 130,000 US dollars). So far, only 10 bids have been made. The auction will be Ends at 22:00 on April 25th, Beijing time.
