Sui 2023 Q4 and 2024 Q1 Report: Daily DEX transaction volume increased by 3689%, DeFi TVL grew by 1459
On April 25th, Messari released the Sui status report for Q4 2023 and Q1 2024. Over the past two quarters, Sui's average daily DEX trading volume has increased by 3689%, reaching $78 million. Cetus and Deep Book lead with an average daily trading volume of $37 million and $26 million respectively; projects primarily built on Sui raised $11.3 million in Q1 2024, which is 31% higher than the total financing amount in all of 2023. At the end of March, Mysten Labs launched Pilotfish. The DeFiT VL on Sui grew by 1459% over the past two quarters to reach $786.6 million. Growth was driven by incentive programs, including NAVI, Scallop and Deep Book among several major protocols that launched or announced tokens in Q1 '24; during Quest3 period, Sui had an average daily active address count of 151 thousand with a peak at 453 thousand excluding this period over last two quarters ,Sui's average daily active addresses were at twenty-four thousand.
