XRP Ledger Q1 transaction volume increased by 108%
Media reports, despite facing legal troubles with the SEC, XRP Ledger's transaction volume is set to surge by 108% in the first quarter. XRPL transactions exceeded 251 million, with average transaction fees significantly dropping by 45%. XRPL's transaction volume increased from about 121 million in the fourth quarter of 2023 to over 251 million in the first quarter of 2024. Daily spot trading volumes on major exchanges grew by 40%.
