PayPal Senior Vice President: Solana is very suitable for payment scenarios
According to a post by SolanaFloor on the X platform, Jose Fernandez, Senior Vice President at @PayPal, stated that Solana is very suitable for payments. He also explained that they are bringing mainstream cryptocurrency use cases through a remittance company called Zoom, which supports billions of dollars in transactions annually. Previously, PayPal announced that it has chosen Solana blockchain to expand its stablecoin, PayPal USD (PYUSD).
