Encryption data analyst Kofi's data shows that in May, Base network achieved an on-chain profit of 6.98 million US dollars, the highest among all L2 networks. Next is Optimism, which achieved an on-chain profit of 1.57 million US dollars. Scroll, Arbitrum and Linea rank from third to fifth respectively. On-chain profit equals L2 gas fee income minus the cost of posting batches and verifying proofs on L1.
