JPMorgan Chase questions the sustainability of $12 billion inflow into cryptocurrency

JPMorgan analysts have raised questions about the sustainability of the $12 billion that has flowed into crypto assets so far this year. They pointed out that although most of the funds were transferred through spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), they are skeptical about the continuity of fund inflows given the current high price of Bitcoin relative to its production cost and gold. Despite this trend, which could lead to an annual net inflow of $26 billion, analysts remain doubtful. This aligns with their early concerns about whether approval for spot Bitcoin ETFs would attract new capital into the crypto field.
