Three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively higher
The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively higher, the Dow rose 0.41%, the Nasdaq rose 0.84%, the SP 500 index rose 0.62%, most of the popular technology stocks rose, Tesla rose more than 10%, the total market capitalization back to the top of the $730 billion, Amazon, Google, Apple rose more than 1%. Automobile manufacturing, industrial metals, semiconductor equipment sector rose, Century Aluminum rose more than 13%, Rivian rose nearly 7%, AMD, Lucid rose more than 4%, Super Micro Computer, Cohue Semiconductor rose more than 3%. Power coal, solar energy, food department stores were the top losers, SunPower fell more than 10%, Cole's, Macy's, Delta Pizza fell more than 2%.
