Astar Network announces that 350 million ASTRs have been destroyed
Astar Network announced on X platform that, after a community vote, 350 million ASTR tokens have been successfully destroyed. Prior to this announcement, it was decided through governance voting that 5% of the total supply of ASTR tokens in the multi-chain smart contract network would be destroyed (a total of 350 million tokens), and an additional 70 million tokens would be transferred to the community treasury.
