Bit Digital expresses excitement for Ethereum ETF but points out the lack of staking feature
Bit Digital is optimistic about the upcoming spot Ethereum (ETH) Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), but also points out that these funds lack staking capabilities. The company believes that the launch of ETFs will be a catalyst for Ethereum's price, helping to accelerate the normalization and adoption of Ethereum and its technology in the financial system.
However, Bit Digital specifically mentions that these ETFs cannot stake, thus not fully utilizing ETH's potential. The company also notes that as the only Bitcoin mining company trading on public markets, it uses Bitcoin mining rewards to stake Ethereum and uses Ethereum staking rewards to continuously increase sustainable Bitcoin miners. Bit Digital is also one of the companies listed on NASDAQ with most Ether holdings, holding over 29,000 ETH (worth approximately $100.4 million).
