WazirX to Launch Bounty Program to Freeze or Recover Stolen Assets
On July 20, Nischal Shetty, co-founder of Indian cryptocurrency trading platform WazirX, said in a social media post, “The WazirX team is actively working on the next steps, including:
1. the preparation of a bounty program to help freeze/recover stolen assets;
2. further discussions regarding the ongoing tracking of money flows, a number of teams claiming to be experts in this area have been contacted;
3. all other exchanges have been notified. Some trading platforms have responded, some have not. the WazirX team is following up. Their support is crucial to recovering the stolen funds as they are transferred. 4. analyzing the data to understand the damage;
