On November 24th, Casey, the founder of Ordinals and Runes protocols, mentioned in a recent interview with Wu Shuo about whether Bitcoin needs L2. He stated that apart from the Lightning Network, all other Bitcoin second-layer solutions are "castles in the air", none of them have users, good implementation or a clear path to success. It is wise to ignore them until they truly land.
