The second-largest cryptocurrency is Trump’s top pick. According to data from the Arkham Intel platform, the newly elected President Donald Trump’s portfolio is now worth over $7.8M, with Ethereum as its largest holding. His portfolio comprises 495.668 ETH, 478.81 WETH, 210.345B TROG, 579.29K TRUMP, and many other altcoins.
In 2019, Trump branded Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as “unregulated crypto assets” and based on “thin air.” But, in the 2024 US elections, he appeared as a pro-crypto candidate and congratulated Bitcoiners for Bitcoin’s ascend over $100k.
When Bitcoin hovered over the $90k range during the second week of November, his portfolio dipped to a $5M level. Later, during BTC’s journey to the new ATH of $103,900, his crypto assets also regained their worth.
Compared to Saylor’s Bitcoin holdings, Trump only holds a small pie. The sturdy Bitcoin advocate, who redefined Bitcoin as a ‘Digital Capital’, holds over $40.21B worth of BTC. He has revealed that his Bitcoin strategy is simple – ‘Just keep buying BTC with your spare capital.’
Trump’s Plan For US
Trump started fulfilling his promises after winning the election to make the US the crypto capital. He replaced Gary with Paul Atkinson, the new chair for SEC, to take forward his vision for the country. David Sacks, a pro-crypto, was named the Whitehouse AI and Crypto Czar on Friday.
Trump has also promised a strategic Bitcoin reserve. If the legislation is passed in the Senate, the Treasury and the Federal Reserve will purchase 200,000 tokens yearly for 5 years.
The world has realized that Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation and has started adding crypto tokens to its portfolios. While El Salvador is a pioneer, many governments, organizations, and individuals are following its footprints.
Beyond supporting the cryptocurrency industry, Trump has deepened his involvement by venturing into the market. The crypto market remains optimistic, and the bull run is in full gear. This could elevate the portfolio of early investors further, and many traders could find this opportunistic for making profits.

The wave of AI Agents and US Treasury yields are splitting the US stock market into two worlds: Meta's release of the Muse model boosted its market value by $220 billion in a single week, propelling the Nasdaq's standout performance; however, excluding AI stocks, the S&P 500 actually fell 1% this week, with the number of new lows on the New York Stock Exchange surpassing new highs for nine consecutive days, signaling the near end of "breadth trading." Goldman Sachs bluntly stated that this is a "frustrating cat-and-mouse game" between the stock market and interest rates—any breakout can be snuffed out by the bond market at any time, so equity holders must short US Treasury bonds to hedge simultaneously.
