Lava Network proposes to extend the lock-in period of LAVA tokens until January 2026
On December 13, the modular blockchain Lava Network announced that Proposal #28 has been approved, deciding to extend the lock-up period of LAVA tokens for one year until January 2026.
It is reported that since its launch in the summer of 2024, Lava Network is nearing completion of its migration to a full mainnet and is expected to be completed in early 2025. Currently, Lava Network has processed approximately 100 billion RPC requests, with monthly active users reaching about 40 million and providing over $1 million in incentives for data providers and LAVA stakers. Next, Lava will focus on implementing relevant upgrades on the mainnet to execute the extended lock-up period.
