The Sui Foundation announces the launch of the DeepBook RFP funding program
The Sui Foundation has announced the launch of the DeepBook Protocol RFP funding program. The program aims to encourage innovative development that meets the needs of the Sui ecosystem and DeepBook through direct financial support, promoting community cooperation and technological progress.
Developers or teams can submit application proposals before December 31, 2024. Each proposal will be evaluated based on its alignment with RFP requirements and overall project feasibility after submission. A dedicated RFP committee will select candidate projects, which will ultimately be decided by voting for a list of funded projects. In addition, to maintain transparency and accountability, selected developers or teams need to complete an identity verification process and sign a funding agreement containing project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
It is reported that DeepBook was launched in 2023 as Sui's first native liquidity layer. Operating as a public product, DeepBook provides services for DeFi on Sui by offering decentralized central limit order books supporting market price and limit orders. The RFP plan plays a key role in encouraging developers to propose solutions around specific adjustments while incubating tools needed for accelerating growth in the Sui ecosystem.
