The head of Deribit Asia Pacific business, Lin Chen, posted on X stating that today's largest ETH block option trade was: a user paid $225,000 to purchase call options with an exercise price of $4000 for January 10 next year, totaling 3730 ETH. Analysis points out that this user is bullish and long. If the price at delivery time is >$4020, it will be profitable. Due to last night being Christmas Eve and liquidity being low, market volatility remains high; the current DVOL volatility index is 73.6 and the ETH/BTC exchange rate is 0.0351.
