1confirmation founder: ETH expected to rise to 10,000 US dollars
1confirmation founder Nick Tomaino stated, "I post bullish on ETH because I care about the truth, no matter what people say on platform X. Regardless, ETH will reach over $10,000." Reasons for being bullish on Ethereum include:
- The best crypto developers are still developing on Ethereum as they have been doing for more than seven years. DeFi, NFTs, stablecoins, prediction markets and decentralized social networks all first appeared on Ethereum. In the future breakthrough applications like blockchain games, payments and AI agents will also appear;
- Early adoption of new use cases brings powerful and defensible network effects. Once a new use case is successful on Ethereum other chains will copy it. Take NFTs and stablecoins as examples; despite these two use cases' undeniable dominance in Ethereum;
- On-chain usage drives value for ETH holders due to its excellent monetary policy where transaction fees are burned so supply decreases with increased usage if the amount of ETH burned exceeds staking rewards. Bitcoin has a simple digital gold narrative that institutions already recognize: total quantity 21 million by 2140. However while Ethereum's scarcity narrative may not seem straightforward at face value it is equally strong;
- Distribution of ETH as currency is currently happening simultaneously at institutional and local levels. In the last five months of 2024 there was strong inflow into ETH ETFs but this is expected to accelerate in 2025 as Wall Street deepens its understanding of ETH and begins staking via ETFs too. At the same time growth in L2 applications (and soon L3) will speed up local adoption of ETH as currency.
