The offshore yuan (CNH) was trading at 7.3583 yuan against the dollar at 05:59 GMT, down 180 pips from Thursday's late New York session, with the overall intraday trading in the range of 7.3244-7.3629 yuan. The onshore yuan closed at 7.3216 yuan against the dollar (CNY) at 03:00 GMT, down 222 pips from Thursday's overnight close. Volume was $47.403 billion.
