ARK Invest: Bitcoin's Relative Volatility Is Low, Further Rise Expected in 2025
Although bitcoin's volatility spiked at the end of the fourth quarter, it was “not significant in historical context,” ARK Invest said in its “Bitcoin Monthly” report. Bitcoin's monthly volatility in December was relatively mild compared to its annual volatility, and the low relative volatility means that bitcoin has yet to enter the frenzied phase of its cycle, which suggests that further gains are likely, especially in a bull market. ARK's report says: “Indeed, these data points suggest that the market has room for further gains in 2025.”
