TheBlock researcher Lars revealed data showing that in January, Bitcoin miners' income fell to about 1.4 billion US dollars (a decrease of 2.8%), and ETH stakers' earnings dropped to about 309 million US dollars (a decrease of 9.7%). In January, a total of 33,906 ETH were burned on the Ethereum chain, equivalent to 113 million US dollars; since the implementation of EIP-1559 in early August 2021, a total of approximately 4.56 million ETH have been burned, equivalent to $12.9 billion; The monthly transaction volume of the NFT market on the Ethereum chain decreased by 41.3%, falling to $519.2 million; after adjusting for stablecoins, trading volume fell by 6.3% reducing it down to $1.32 trillion while issuance increased by around 3.1% rising up to $175.2 billion with Tether's (USDT) market share being at around78%, and USD Coin's (USDC) at approximately19 .6%.
