Morgan Stanley economists have stated that they no longer anticipate a rate cut by the Federal Reserve in March, and now expect one to occur in June this year. The speed at which the Trump administration is imposing tariffs is faster than we expected, which could mean that inflation will stagnate at higher levels of inflation, thereby blocking any possibility of a rate cut in the near future.
