Dragonfly partner: Kyle Samani’s exit from the industry marks the end of the dreamers’ era, but the era of doers is arriving.
According to Odaily, Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi posted on X, expressing that Kyle Samani's departure from the industry is saddening. Because he represents the changing of eras more than anyone else. Kyle was rebellious and unconventional, almost believing that as long as he could refute his opponents, anything could become reality. His departure is the truest sign of our industry's maturation—the real end of the Wild West era. Pioneers and later settlers are fundamentally different, and this is a law of human nature.
Haseeb added: "I am still very optimistic about cryptocurrency. I know it sounds strange to say this in a volatile market, and people have little patience left for dreams that may only be realized in ten years. The era of dreamers has ended, and the era of doers is arriving. This is neither good nor bad in itself—it just is. Kyle leaving Multicoin does not mean the end of crypto venture capital; it is merely the end of the initial stage."
