SBF criticizes US "political enforcement" in a post, stating that FTX has always remained solvent
According to Odaily, TX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) posted on X, stating that there is a phenomenon of "political lawfare" in the United States, and that the enforcement logic is "do not give the defendant a chance to present evidence." He claimed that the Biden administration's judicial system had brought "unfounded charges" against both himself and former U.S. President Trump, and restricted their ability to respond publicly. In his remarks, SBF mentioned the accounting records case involving Trump, stating that such expenses often involve accounting classification disputes in companies, but prosecutors still brought multiple charges based on this. He also noted that in his own case, he faced gag orders and pretrial detention measures, and that FTX has always remained solvent.
SBF also stated that he believes he was targeted due to his opposition to U.S. crypto regulatory policies and changes in his political donation stance. However, these statements are his personal views, have not been confirmed by judicial authorities, and he is currently lobbying for a pardon.
