The seven major US tech stocks declined in pre-market trading: Apple fell 0.4%, Microsoft fell 0.5%, Meta dropped 1.1%, Amazon slipped 0.2%, Tesla fell 1.1%, Nvidia dropped 1.1%, and Alphabet declined 0.1%. Nasdaq 100 index futures fell 0.8%, and S&P 500 index futures dropped 0.3%. Investors remain focused on capital expenditures by major cloud service providers and the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry. Since the beginning of this year, the equal-weighted index of the seven tech giants has fallen by a cumulative 7.2%.
