BNP Paribas launches tokenized Ethereum money market fund pilot project
ChainCatcher reported that BNP Paribas Asset Management recently announced the issuance of tokenized shares of a French domestic money market fund on the Ethereum blockchain through its AssetFoundryTM platform.
This project adopts a "permissioned access model" to ensure that only qualified and authorized participants can hold and transfer assets, in order to comply with relevant regulatory requirements. This is the second time BNP Paribas has issued a tokenized money market fund, aiming to test the complete end-to-end process from issuance, transfer agency, tokenization, to connection with the public blockchain.
