Workday Shares Drop On Weak Guidance After Q4 Earnings
Workday Inc. (NASDAQ:WDAY) shares slid in Tuesday's extended trading after the company released its fourth-quarter earnings report and issued forward guidance below estimates.

The Details: Workday reported quarterly earnings of $2.47 per share, which beat the Street estimate of $2.32.
Quarterly revenue of $2.53 billion beat the consensus estimate of $2.52 billion and was up from $2.21 billion in the same period last year.
Workday reported the following fiscal 2025 highlights:
- 12-month subscription revenue backlog was $8.83 billion, up 15.8% from the same period last year.
- Total subscription revenue backlog was $28.1 billion, increasing 12.2% year-over-year.

Outlook: Workday expects first quarter revenue of $2.52 billion, versus the $2.53 billion analyst estimate, and fiscal 2027 revenue of $10.64 billion to $10.66 billion, versus the $10.72 billion analyst estimate.
WDAY Stock Price: According to data from Benzinga Pro, Workday stock fell 8.40% to $119.17 in Tuesday's extended trading.
