Focus AI completes acquisition of Busan Digital Asset Exchange and becomes its largest shareholder
PANews, February 27 — According to NEWSPIM, Focus AI has announced the completion of the remaining payment for the acquisition of Busan Digital Asset Exchange. Focus AI ultimately acquired 40.61% of the shares, officially becoming its largest shareholder and obtaining management rights. Busan Digital Asset Exchange is Korea's first RWA tokenization exchange, currently supporting 23-hour digital trading of seven types of physical precious metal assets, including gold, silver, and platinum. The KDX Alliance, in which it participates, recently received the first preliminary license for OTC securities trading brokerage of STOs from the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Korea. Through this acquisition, Focus AI plans to integrate AI, payment, stablecoin, and e-wallet technologies to build Web3 payment platform infrastructure and promote the development of RWA and STO businesses.
