With assets totaling 14 trillions USD, BlackRock has, for the first time, acquired the bitcoin company MetaPlanet through the iShares Japan ETF. This marks the first involvement of a top-tier Wall Street institution in a bitcoin-related enterprise. (The Bitcoin Historian)
