According to Golden Ten Data on March 9, market strategist Michael McCarthy pointed out that the threat of attacks on refineries is extremely concerning, as it points to the worst-case economic scenario. If 15% to 20% of the world's oil supply were to be cut off, it would not only drag down the growth of all global economies but also trigger an inflation shock. The combination of inflation and slowing growth would result in stagflation, which would be an economic disaster.
