Golden Ten Data, March 10|According to sources familiar with the matter, The Walt Disney Company is close to appointing Thomas Mazloum as chairman of its Parks, Cruise, and Consumer Products division, succeeding Josh D’Amaro. The sources said that the announcement of Mazloum's appointment could be released as early as this week. Since March last year, Mazloum has been managing the Disneyland Resort in California. The sources requested anonymity due to the non-public nature of the information. In his early years, Mazloum was responsible for Disney's cruise business and held senior positions at Walt Disney World in Orlando. D’Amaro will succeed Bob Iger as Disney's CEO at the company's annual shareholders meeting on March 18.
