LEGO CEO: Surging oil prices may drive up toy costs

格隆汇 March 11|Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of Danish toy giant Lego, admitted that if the impact of oil prices is a long-term situation, it will drive up the cost of producing toys. He stated: "We regard it as part of the raw material costs. When oil prices rise, our costs will certainly increase as well; it depends on whether the impact is short-term or long-term. In the short term, we have contractual protection, so we are relatively unaffected, but in the long run, it is different."
