BTC's largest bear「pension-usdt.eth」 is going long with a $2.5M buy order on crude oil, making its first cross-asset bet on traditional assets
BlockBeats News, March 11th, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the whale "pension-usdt.eth" (0x0ddf…) focusing on crypto margin trading has expanded its trading activities to traditional assets. Last night, the address continued to establish long positions near $87 on CL (crude oil), and today added another 10,000 contracts (approximately $830,000) in the past hour, with the additional position at $83.5.
With this latest move, its leveraged long position in CL has reached $2.54 million, with an average price of $84.7 and a current unrealized gain of $1,500. The address has primarily engaged in large-scale BTC and ETH trading in the past, maintaining the largest on-chain BTC short position. This long position in crude oil marks its first foray into the realm of real-world asset (RWA) traditional assets.
