Jinse Finance reported that Jeff Currie stated that even if there is a ceasefire in the Middle East, there are no policy measures that can stop the rise in crude oil prices. Supply chain disruptions—including ship scheduling chaos, canceled insurance, and production slowdowns in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the UAE—will take months to repair. He said that releasing oil reserves is merely a "drop in the bucket" in the face of ongoing supply interruptions.
