Odaily reported, according to Bloomberg, that U.S. prosecutors stated the request for a retrial by the exchange co-founder SBF should be rejected, as he failed to prove any injustice in his conviction. In 2023, the jury found him guilty of fraud and conspiracy in connection with the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange, sentencing him to 25 years in prison.
