When asked about Wright's deleted post, White House Press Secretary Levitt said the U.S. did not escort any vessels. Earlier today, Wright stated that the U.S. Navy is currently unable to provide escort for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but it is "very likely" that such arrangements could be made by the end of this month.
