Ethereum Foundation has released a 38-page document outlining its philosophy and role as a network steward. The publication comes at a time when Ethereum's technical roadmap is being adjusted and a co-executive director has resigned. The document emphasizes that Ethereum's core mission is to empower user autonomy, and ensures that the development process maintains censorship resistance, openness, privacy, and security. Ethereum Foundation plans to gradually reduce its influence as the ecosystem matures.
