On March 15, Eric Trump, the second son of Donald Trump, posted on the X platform stating that he completely disagrees with the view of former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson that "bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme." Boris Johnson had previously expressed doubts that bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme and claimed that tragic stories he had heard confirmed this suspicion. This statement sparked controversy, and several members of the crypto community, including Michael Saylor, Samson Mow, Paolo Ardoino, and Adam Back, publicly voiced their opposition.
