Metaplanet CEO: Metaplanet may raise $234 million to purchase BTC, has issued 100 million warrants with mNAV terms
Odaily reported that Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich posted on X, stating that the company has issued 100 millions Moving Strike Warrants with mNAV terms. According to the design, the warrants can only be exercised when the company's stock price exceeds 1.01 times the mNAV, ensuring that every new share issued increases shareholder value.
Simon Gerovich stated that this mechanism is expected to raise an additional $234 millions for the company, which will be used to purchase bitcoin, and the warrants will only be triggered when there is a positive impact on the per-share BTC holdings.
