Shipping agency data: Last week, the average daily oil exports from Gulf countries dropped by more than 60%

Latest shipping data shows that as the conflict continues to escalate, last week, oil exports from major oil-producing countries in the Middle East Gulf region dropped by more than 60% compared to the average level in February. According to data from Belgian market service agency Kpler, during the week ending March 15, the average daily oil exports from eight major Gulf oil-producing countries—Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates—was 9.71 million barrels. In February, the average daily exports from these countries reached 25.13 million barrels, indicating a sharp decline of about 61%. Kpler's data shows that before the outbreak of the war, the maritime oil exports of these eight Gulf countries accounted for 36% of the global total. (CCTV)
