Peter Cardillo: Fed rate cuts may not come until the fourth quarter
According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, Peter Cardillo, Chief Market Economist at Spartan Capital Securities, stated that the Federal Reserve is acting very cautiously, and a rate cut may have to wait until the fourth quarter, depending on the trend of energy prices. If energy prices remain at current levels, it will mean a higher inflation rate, economic growth may fall below 1%, and inflation will also be higher, resulting in a situation of stagflation.
