Major European airlines warn that they will have to pass fuel costs on to passengers.

Golden Ten Data reported on March 19 that major European airlines issued warnings on Thursday, stating that due to the ongoing tensions in Iran and oil tankers still stranded in the Persian Gulf, they will have to pass higher fuel costs onto passengers. Many airlines in the region are well prepared to withstand the impact of soaring oil prices in the short term. However, the CEO of Ryanair Holdings said that any additional costs would lead to higher ticket prices. The CEO of Lufthansa stated, "Our company's average profit is about 10 euros per passenger, which is approximately 11 dollars. We simply cannot afford extra costs."
