Nucor Steel announces first quarter earnings outlook, per-share earnings guidance exceeds expectations

Analysts had forecast $2.71. The steel manufacturer expects all three operating segments to achieve earnings growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2025. The steel mills segment is expected to record the largest increase, due to higher average selling prices and volumes across all product categories.
