Two Indian liquefied petroleum gas carriers are passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Golden Ten Data reported on March 23 that ship tracking data shows two vessels flying the Indian flag and carrying liquefied petroleum gas are passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with their routes closely hugging the Iranian coastline. The data indicates that the liquefied natural gas carriers "Jag Vasant" and "Pine Gas" sailed north from the UAE coast early Monday morning, heading toward Iran's Qeshm Island and Larak Island. Currently, it is only known that they are owned by India, and their destination remains unknown, but it is highly likely they are heading to India. India is currently facing a severe shortage of liquefied petroleum gas. Earlier this month, two other liquefied petroleum gas carriers flying the Indian flag also arrived in India.
